Both PADGEN v3.11, ASP's freeware editor and PADManager by Rudenko Software, no longer support the latest PAD Specification 4.0. In their place, an entire new PAD authoring web-based platform, AppVisor has been developed to support the latest spec.

Like PADGEN, the AppVisor PAD editor is free to use for creating and publishing PAD files. Pubishers are advised to register on AppVisor, import their application v3.11 PAD files, add v4.0's latest fields, proceed through the real-time PAD v4.0 Validator, and finally publish their PAD files to the ASP PAD Repository. The new v4.0 has also added third party extensions, including PR, RSS, Affiliate to v4.0. Once your PAD is published on the Global PAD Repository, publishers can proceed to submit their PAD files for certification.
